KMEG 14 Awarded Best Sportscast, Small Market

April 9th at the 2011 Northwest Broadcast News Association Conference in Bloomfield, MN "KMEG 14 Game Night" was awarded the 2011 Eric Sevareid Award, First Place Award for Best Sportscast, Small Market.

Congratulations to Mike Foss, Jordan Furbee, Landon Friesen, Mike Kjose, Nate Eilers, Brett Beyeler, Johnathan Mack, Steve Hardina, Ryan Coyle, Brenda Murphy, and the students of Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE.

The Northwest Broadcast News Association presented 237 awards to stations from the six-state region of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota & Wisconsin. The awards presented this year are for work done during calendar year 2010.
