KTNC 42 – Estrella TV launched their first ever KTNC Scholarship program titled "Tu Futuro". Attendees at the launch witnessed a very impressive station initiative with the purpose of making a difference in the lives of the community's young people. KTNC thanks their friends at the Art Institute of California/Sunnyvale who were also instrumental at making this event a reality. Together they hosted more than 300 individuals during the two day event.
KTNC truly appreciates the support of:
- KTNC TV Network management who allowed their talented Enrique Gratas to participate
- Enrique Gratas who donated his time
- Bill Garcia who also came in full support
- Manuel Romero who sang for everyone, giving the event a touch of class and elegance
- Luis Echegoyen and Alfonso Ley who also added prestige with their presence
- KTNC's three supporting sponsors who not only invested in a Tu Futuro media campaign, but also contributed with a $2,000 scholarship for a deserving student
There are many people to thank for their time and effort, and that includes all active and passive participants at KTNC. All departments embraced this effort and together they made it a reality. KTNC is very proud of this accomplishment now and in years to come since their goal is to grow and improve it year after year.
